I've been reading this forum for a while, great community. I'm shopping for a round diamond and would appreciate your help. The setting is a vintage halo, white gold.
Here are my specifications: 1 ct+, eye clean (vs2+), I+, Gia xxx or AGS 0. The budget is <$6,200. I have wiggle room but rather not spend more

1) what do you guys think about Yadav? they seem to have good cut stones for very good price.
2) I'm not sure if I should rather go for h+ stones. Thoughts?
3) I'm thinking about ordering 2-3 stones and picking the one I prefer, then returning the other 2.

Here are few stones I have in mind:

Thanks very much!

I've never heard of yadav just so you know.

I'll go look.

I think Yadav is in San Francisco? If I'm not mistaken. OP - you should try some of our tried and true vendors - Whiteflash, ID Jewelry, just to name a few.

@Queenie60 sure, I'm also looking at JA, I like the high res videos. I was wondering since they are quite cheaper on Yadav.

@msop04 thanks, wouldn't the strong blue on the first one be an issue?

SBF rarely has a negative effect... have JA verify it, but it doesn't appear to be hazy or cloudy.

Thanks @msop04, I was hesitant about including medium++ fluorescent in my searches, even if the negative effects are rare, just to be on the safe side.

Few days ago, I also noticed this one: http://www.b2cjewels.com/dd/9179334/round-diamond-I-color-VS1-Clarity
AGS certificate http://images.b2cjewels.com/images//Certificate//DiamondReport_9179334.jpg

It's on hold for $4,500 - $4600 (discounted, thanks to pricescope, it was 5,200 originally)

I requested the video but they are taking forever (it's been 2 days, each time saying that I would get it by the end of the day), also, their registration page is broken. It didn't inspire a lot of trust so far.

An AGS Ideal, this is a very nicely cut stone... at 6.5 mm, it may be noticeably smaller than a 6.7 mm. I don't think you can go wrong with AGS Ideal, and the price is very fair. I wish it had more fluorescence though...

What would be the advantage of more fluorescence?

It can help a lower coloured stone appear "whiter" as the blue fluorescence helps to mask yellow tinge in stones from say H-K colours. As a side bonus, stones with fluorescence also sell between 10-20% cheaper than stones of the same colour, clarity and carat size without fluorescence.
