Hey all. Chris with ERD has been awesome in helping me create my custom setting and now has his eye out for my diamond.

While I don't have an idealscope for the diamond, are there any thoughts/reactions/concerns? I was thinking it might be a tad deep, so I'm not getting quite the diameter that I'd love. But the price is in my budget (under $9000) for a H Vs2. Was attempting to get to a 1.35+ ct. stone, but this also seems like a good deal. Love to hear thoughts/feedback.

Waiting to hear back from ERD on whether it's eye clean....otherwise, anything else stand out/of concern?

The proportions look good. The size is fine. It's unlikely that there's anything wrong w/ the cut, but you never know until you have some evidence.

If you don't have an IdealScope image, can you at least get a good photo face-on of the diamond?

i actually had that diamond on hold before. the sales rep advised me i should pass on it since the inclusions are right in the middle of the table. Thats what he would have done. so i would do the same.

But ofcourse you should ask for an actual photo of it if possible. it did came out eye clean

The photos look pretty, but an Ideal-Scope would be helpful. Overall it's not that bad. I agree with you about the spread, but an Ideal-Scope showing any leakage around the girdle will help with that a bit, as far as assessing how big it could look in good lighting.

Unfortunately, I would also pass on it. The inclusion looks to me like it can be spotted.

You'd definitely need an idealscope image and check the fluorescence.

RnR, the diamond looks fine but it's not the best cut stone, I think you can do better personally, but it depends on what level of cut you are looking for and if it isn't eye clean and the inclusion is smack dab in the middle of the table, it might drive you crazy.
