1.03 carat tsavorite

I never tried photographing gems before and today i understood that it is a very hard process!! these photos are taken using a mid range samsung phone.

This is the 1.03 carat tsavorite which i purchased from the "facets-2015 Sri Lanka" gem show. it's glowing in real life but i can't capture it on photos.. I know this is tiny compared to the gems in pricescope, but this is a step towards the gem collection which i hope to build one day

Such a beautiful tsavorite! You can definitely see that the colour is a bright, glowing green, I bet its stunning in real life. Dont worry about not having a 'huge' stone. I think when it comes to tsavorites, you're not going to have a very big one unless you're extremely rich, and even then you need to find one! Great start to your collection.

I am so happy that despite the poor photos, the experienced ladies think this is a nice color. it's so "neon" like in real life.the color just jumps at me.. thank you so much to everybody for the lovely comments now... brainstorming for setting ideas
