I think the most important thing is to find a style that suits your body shape.

Most of my dresses are the same/similar style that suits my odd shape, just in different patterned fabric. They’re not ‘high’ fashion, just classic that I know I will be wearing for years to come.

I’m out walking my dog everyday, so my ‘uniform’ for that is jeans, I don’t wear jeans for ‘going out’, and I only wear sportswear for Pilates.

In complete agreement with you @Austina. I don't follow trends per se rather find what I am comfortable wearing and what looks good on me. Comfort always first for me and aesthetics a close second. That is why I will never wear high heels. I am not comfortable in heels at all and while heels always look better than flats with certain outfits I always opt for flats or very low blocky heels over higher heels. In fact I wore flats with my wedding dress. I didn't change into more comfortable shoes after the ceremony as I was already wearing the most comfortable shoes the whole time.:halo:
