We will always celebrate birthdays around here and today we are celebrating January’s birthday girl (or in this case, January’s birthday Duchess) the Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine Middleton. Yes, unless you live in the farthest reaches of the globe, you know exactly who she is. She burst onto the scene more than a decade ago when she was outed as Prince William’s girlfriend. Now, let’s fast forward to 2021. The couple are settled in and happily married with three children. Just this past week, the family celebrated her 39th birthday with a small tea party. In honor of the Duchess of Cambridge we’ve decided to analyze her style so you can pull off her regal jewelry looks for less.

PEARL AND DIAMOND INSPIRATION

The Duchess of Cambridge absolutely adores pearl and diamond jewelry. Many of her jewelry choices reflect who she is as a person, opting for more modest pieces over the big showstoppers. However, she knows how to really bring it for the state occasions and we can say without a doubt that some of our favorite diamond and pearl pieces (the Lover’s Knot tiara) have been worn during these occasions. Yet, if you don’t have the history or pockets to have a pearl and diamond tiara at your disposal, you are still in good company. We selected a pearl and diamond pair of earrings because they are classic and timeless.

EMERALD INSPIRATION

We believe emerald green is one of the Duchess’ best colors as we have noticed time and time again just how flawless she looks when she is wearing the color as well as when she is wearing emerald jewelry. She may feel the same way we do because in contrast to her more understated pearl and diamond pieces, most of her emerald pieces make a statement. We selected the emerald and diamond ring because it bears a close resemblance to a pair of emerald and diamond earrings we spotted on her in the past. This majestic ring is definitely one you bring out for only the best state occasions, or for us mere mortals, that gala event. Nevertheless, it is a piece you and the Duchess would be lucky to call your own.

SAPPHIRE INSPIRATION

Yes, the Duchess of Cambridge’s sapphire engagement ring is currently the world’s most famous engagement ring. It is famous in part because it was Princess Diana’s engagement ring. But, if you love this style, but rings aren’t your thing, then have no fear because there is another alternative. You can always opt to wear this look in a pendant necklace. The Duchess has been seen wearing pendant necklaces on multiple occasions and we selected this sapphire pendant because we believe it matches her down-to-earth, off-duty style she tends to favor. The good news is, you can also have your very own diamond and sapphire pendant to wear when you are kicking back and relaxing as well.

It is always a blessing to see another year of life and this month’s birthday Duchess can claim just that. It seems like only yesterday that the world watched her walk down the aisle to marry her prince and now she’s one of the most stylish and inspiring woman in the world and inspiring many others to refresh their wardrobes.

Happy Birthday to the Duchess of Cambridge. Which piece of the Duchess of Cambridge’s jewelry stands out to you most? Let us know by clicking the Comments button below.
