Throwback Thursdays: June 2022

June has come and gone in a flash, but it left a glittering trail of sparkle. If it’s bright and sunny where you are, we’d love to see pics of your jewels in the sun throwing light around!

On Throwback Thursdays, we here at PriceScope celebrate the jewels of our past. Every day on the Show Me The Bling! forum, Community members share their new bling for us all to enjoy. We’ve accumulated over a decade worth of fabulous additions from our members. The community at PriceScope is like no other and it’s awesome to get more chances to cheer for each other!

Throwback Thursday is posted each week on the PriceScope Facebook Page. On the last Thursday of the month, we will share them all in one post so that everyone can enjoy them. Onward to the Throwbacks for June 2022!

JUNE 2, 2022 SOLITAIRE RESET INTO HALO

Yellow gold floral diamond ring

Lorrissey shared this diamond ring reset with us in 2013. This is a fantastic upgrade! Starting with a solitaire that her Mother gifted her upon her engagement. Lorrissey loved the sentimentality of the ring, but not the ring itself. When her mother gave her her blessing to reset the ring, she set off on her jewelry journey!

Working with David Klass, Lorrissey tried it out as a pendant and did not like it, then gave this look a go. Now she has a ring that she loves, but still retains her mother’s stone! Excellently done!

JUNE 23, 2022 BESPOKE COLORED DIAMOND RING

bespoke colored diamond ring

Chrono shared this colored diamond bespoke ring with us in 2014. The colors and the finger coverage are brilliant! The design is beautiful, this is a winner. I love that it includes a family diamond. Gorgeous!

THE STONES

The ring is made up of a small white diamond passed down from chrono’s mother (gift from chrono’s father during her parent’s college days), a pair of blush pinks, a purplish pink and an orange yellow diamond.

JUNE 30, 2022 NEO-EDWARDIAN TANZANITE AND DIAMOND NECKLACE

large diamond necklace with Tanzanite heart

Tanzigrrl shared this incredible scrollwork diamond and tanzanite necklace with us in 2014. WOW! There are heaps of diamonds, including her original engagement ring stone. That tanzanite is rich and bold. The piece is for sure a statement, but I think that statement is fabulous!

STATISTICS

8.56-Carat Tanzanite
The stone measures 12 x 12 x 8.80

Hand-made the necklace in 14kt white gold. The top scroll measures 43.90 x 17.45mm, the bottom scroll measures 40.30 x 19.70mm, and 2 side scrolls measure 36.65 x 13.56mm.
