While Beyoncé stunned the crowd at President Obama’s inauguration with her rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” we couldn’t take our eyes off her emerald jewels! The singer performed in a black Emilio Pucci gown, the perfect canvas for $2.5 million worth of emerald jewelry by Lorraine Schwartz. According to US Weekly, Beyoncé’s earrings were comprised of 80 carats of emeralds, and the ring totaled a whopping 50 carats. We knew emeralds would be big this year, as Pantone’s 2013 Color of the Year, but we didn’t know just how big until Beyoncé appeared on Inauguration Day. Stunning!
