My fiance actually sketched out my ring and got a goldsmith to make it. I'm super impressed with the band and his design for the mounting, you can see all of the asscher from all sides)

Hi,
I'm always a little late to join the party when it comes to posting here but wanted to add my emerald cut too. I call her Big Emmie even though the center diamond is a 1.56 ct. ( if I remember correctly), it looks huge in the current setting. It's a GIA H, VS1, and was recut for me by Brian Gavin to look more like an antique elongated asscher cut. It's almost too much ring for me , for every day wear, with the halo and side diamonds. I was thinking of trading it in for something a little less blingy. But I love the center diamond and may have it reset with baguettes on the side. O.k., that 's enough rambling on. I hope I'm adding my picture to the right thread.

I am not sure if my original e-ring made it into this folder but I will add my new reset. I LOVE my new wedding set!!
It is a 1.28 carat Asscher G/VVS2 this is my orginal engagement diamond, the side stones are .37 tcw Cadi's in the F-G range. I don't know the total carat weight of the pave.

What a unique halo! I've never seen one like this. It's really very striking.

Your center stone is a 1.28? It looks so MASSIVE!! Congrats on the new set; wear it in good health.
