RAPAPORT... Zales and Gordon's jewelers adopted Bazaarvoice technology for its online rating and reviews. Bazaarvoice's analytic tools allow online shoppers to provide product feedback and enable the Zale Corporation to mine customer opinions online and check those comments against marketing and merchandising strategy. The customized implementation, which included diamonds in place of the usual star rating icon, allows the retailer to quickly amass comments within desired parameters.
