Your thoughts on this diamond reverie necklace...

Hey All,

I am getting married by the end of the year and am looking to buy my mother a graduated tennis necklace. My budget is around USD 8k but I will take lower if I can get it. Since there's going to be a lot of stacking and piling on, size matters. Given the budget I am fine with SI stones which give enough sparkle. Here're a few options on Etsy that have some sizeable options within my budget. Can you guys give this a looksee and let me know your thoughts?

I bought my tennis necklace from DeeJay jewelers on eBay. They are based in the US, I live in Australia and shipping was no problem either.
The DeeJay ones are 18 inch, a better length to stop “flipping” though I must advise that they still like to “flip”. So I put a pendant on my mine and no flipping ever.
Mine is the 12 carat total graduated one, the centre diamond is .50 carat. The diamonds right at the end are tiny but I wanted the “size” where you see it! The diamonds are white and sparkly, no cloudy ones. While the clarity might be some what low, you really don’t notice any inclusions. The necklace is 14kt yellow gold (you can choose what colour gold) and weighs 28 grams so it’s got good heft to it.

And the prices on eBay are better for the necklaces. DeeJay is an actual manufacturer.
The 8 odd carat style is $4,695 US and with heavier gold weight 24 grams vs 18 grams for the Etsy one.
DeeJay has 3,165 feedback for 100% positive whereas the Etsy seller has had 15 sales. So I’d be trusting DeeJay more.
