The IS and actual pic look tilted, but I don''t see the issue with the ASET?

I''m seeing what looks like misaligned arrows in the pic, and the IS. In the ASET it looks like the arrow at 8 oclock may be slightly out of line too to my untrained eye. Still a beautiful stone IMHO. I couldn''t imagine being able to see anything wrong with my naked eye.

do they look weird to you? the hearts are fine, but how about the arrows? maybe bad ASET/IS images?

The plain photograph and IS seem to be tilted to the top right ever so slightly giving the appearance of shorter arrows on the top right and longer ones in the bottom left.
The ASET does not show this and the hearts image is not showing any assymetry in the hearts either so I''d don''t see anything significant.

the blue smudge next to the arrows looks weird, must be a photo problem too.

look at the two set of proportions on this stone...i know,i know, most of the time they don''t match.

do care if the AGS report matches the vendor''s sarin? which would you trust to be more accurate?

Nope, I would expect a certain amount of discontinuity - no two machines can really be proven to be have been perfectly calibrated and have stayed that way unless checked against each other before/after evaluating each stone, afterall.

I would trust AGS'' numbers over an in-house sarin - most probably a higher end machine and since *those* are the standards, however they''re calibrated, that''s what the bar is.
