Wow! That’s gorgeous @JPie! You have the most beautiful pieces! :kiss2:
Thank you! I am trying to switch gears and focus on buying fewer, truly unique pieces vs. a lot of less expensive ones. We’ll see how that goes...

oh my goodness!! You lucky lucky girl!!! So glad it went to a PS’er!! I also enquired with Tracey about the brooch but the price was too rich for me. Do enjoy and post a gazillion pictures when you get it so I can live vicariously through you!
Did we talk about this before? I recall having a conversation about it with another PSer but I can’t remember who!

I made her an offer and the rest is history!

She is with the jeweler for a check-up before she makes her way to me. I’ll probably have her next week. ~4.35 ctw, late Victorian, silver over 18K, and constructed in sections so there’s movement to the brooch. Pin stem is removable. I’ll probably wear it as a pendant and maybe in my hair if I can ever figure out how to style it myself. I’m terrible with hair.

Seller is Jewellery Trading Company, AKA @gems4eva on IG. She has been such a pleasure buying from! A wonderful class act.

Stunning piece @JPie! Congratulations on an amazing find. Love oxidized white metal. Reminds me of a gorgeous bow brooch from Lang that I passed on, which I still slightly regret to this day. Can’t wait to see how you wear it. I love it.

My stone is here! Earlier than I expected. Gorgeous, rich and beautiful! Smaller than I expected so I am thinking of a special occasion ring for me. Hard to catch the true color. Jeff's picture is the closest to the color IRL.

It is mine, my aqua :D! Arrives tomorrow. 4.31ct and 11.25 x 8.08 mm, so far the biggest stone in my modest collection. Considering gorgeous pendant but won't be able to start the project in the nearest future :(sad

This colour is STUNNING!

Considering this guy... even though it's probably too good to be true at that price

I would say that this isn’t authentic. The seller has two of the same item..It’s new...and the price is unbelievable. If you like it you can buy it anyway but I wouldn’t count on it being the real deal.

I'm in the market for an antique yellow gold muff chain, preferable Georgian or Victorian. I'd like one that's a bit more substantial so I could wear it with some of my Marla Aaron locks.

Browsing for options online has been therapeutic, but sadly, I keep finding other bits of jewelry that I want!

Most possibly @JPie ! Did you know that the whole back of the brooch can be removed?

I think a bale can be added to the back so you can wear it as a very large pendant. Enjoy and if you ever want to sell, please let me know

@kipari thank you!

@RosieR I wonder if it had a separate hair clip fitting once upon a time? Just thinking out loud. I would rather not do anything to it so I’m going to see if I can make it work as a pendant by wearing it off to the side, like this:

It’s going to look amazing!

Omg that's beautiful! I saw a similar one on Lang's but this is a beauty. I'm so glad it went to a PS'er. I have a piece with Tracey at the moment that I'm hoping to get in the next week or so. She's so great to deal with! I wouldn't hesitant to buy from her again.

A 8mm Asscher cut royal/medium blue lab Sapphire to be cut by Gary B of Finewater Gems.

A royal/medium blue Sapphire in Asscher cut is on my wish list, and I have planned to work with Jeff W to source one for me, with a sizable budget.

Since the colour is not that high on my list of favourites, and the lab stone posted on Gary's site recently is just gorgeous, I thought I may as well save myself some money and get a lab stone instead of spending thousands on a real one (sorry Jeff!).

DK :))

I looked at EC diamond bands last weekend. Just researching for the future. I have a wishlist for a set of core jewelry pieces to buy over time, one of which will be an upgraded wedding band/RHR.

Here is one we particularly liked. Each diamond is .45 cts and is an elongated EC. The elongated ECs looked better than the medium-length ones on my fingers. The diamonds aren't particularly well cut, but I loved the size! It complemented my CBI e-ring so perfectly!

Oh darn you @RunningwithScissors now I think I need an asscher band for my ec engagement ring!

Can’t wait to see what you got!

I saw the feather on the Lang website and that one is bigger and also waaaaaaay more crazy expensive. :eek-2: It makes me feel like I got a bargain!

Tell me about it! It must have cost a small fortune. I got one of the starburst brooch/pendant. I'm so excited but now thinking I'll need a new chain for it.

Ooh, I love starbursts! She had some really nice ones. Can’t wait to see yours!

I bought an 18k white gold and emerald eternity band. I like it even more than I thought I would. It stacks nicely with my old diamond band (that always bothered me because it wasn't an eternity and didn't really go with my rings), and it's nice on its own too.
