This has been a blingtastic week! I made a wonderful new friend in @PreRaphaelite ! She is the absolute sweetest and I'm thrilled to be friends with her. And of coarse the transaction was flawless. I acquired her beautiful omc diamond and I'm proud to be the new mommy. She is a .65 carat est GH and no visible inclusions. I'm not sure how I'll set her. I'm thinking about a buttercup ring setting, or make a seashell or snowflake pendant some day. Here she is! 20200620_143922.jpg 20200620_143946.jpg

Also @PreRaphaelite surprised me with a beautiful handmade 14 kt yg pearl pendant! I just love it! Feels cool, casual and beachy! 760871
And here's a giggle... @PreRaphaelite were texting last night and I sent her a pic of the pearl pendant she gifted me on the chain. But unfortunately there was my hair coiled up in one part of the chain. And she said oh just run a lighter under it and the hair will singe off. So my hubby had some fun and turned on the gas stove for a hot second and hair gone. Passing on this wisdom!

I was also lucky enough to acquire 2 beautiful stones from @evergreen so it was a great day yesterday! A beautiful light pink tourmaline cut in antique style and a rectangular mint garnet. I've not received them yet but just wanted to share. Hope @evergreen doesn't mind me using her pics.
I plan to set the tourmaline in a round halo setting and I'm not sure about the garnet yet. 1592674965205_IMG_20200214_130805.jpg IMG_20200214_130724.jpg 1592674965205_IMG_20200214_130805.jpg IMG_20200619_094344.jpg

I’m honored to be your friend and so glad that our little ‘diamond adoption agency‘ successfully placed such a gorgeous girl in a new loving home! It was meant to be <3

I can’t wait to see how you set all your new stones!

So excited to see how you will set these! :D And so happy they are going somewhere to be loved and enjoyed.

And....the French cut emerald band is now on my hand! I bought from an IG seller that turned out to be local, so we met for lunch. Was like hanging with a good friend! She also brought a carre cut emerald and marquis diamond band to show me, and it was also gorgeous, so I'm considering it!

So you’re the lucky duck who scooped that up! Please share more pics when you get it.

@CSpan , I love that ring! I would have a hard time pulling that apart.

@CSpan If you do decide to pull out the stones, please list the band for sale if you don't plan to keep it. It's my size, and I would LOVE IT! :kiss2:

Look who showed up! Love the packaging and my only complaint is that it is totally overcast so we shall have to have another photoshoot later. And now I'm back in the "well it would be a shame to pull her apart" camp. But I'll see.

Ugh, @CSpan the ring is lovely!! Like, I would love to buy that setting, but I would love even more for you to keep it intact! It's just perfection.

This ring is identical to my Great Aunts from 1934! Literally! It was left to my younger sister & I very much love it. Looking at yours makes me feel warm & fuzzy!

@CSpan Here it is! Your ring twin! These pics were sent to me by my sister & she admitted she hadn't removed or cleaned it for about a month, so apologies for the grubbiness. The diamonds in this are SO utterly clean & transparent.

That is unbelievable, it is identical!
It really is darling. It is growing on me....

@junebug17 @lkolarik I found this putzing around on ebay. Not identical but same delicate lines and bigger stones. Screenshot_20200621-122725_eBay.jpg Screenshot_20200621-122719_eBay.jpg

I search via the app and can't seem to get a link but if you can't find it I'll figure it out.

Just bought an 8mm OEC blue Zircon from @CHRISTY-DANIELLE.

I love the patterns of OEC, however, I could not justify an OEC in diamond or even a Moissy.

However, it was love at first sight with this stone, for its colour, size, clarity as well as the gorgeous cutting!

Can't wait to have it in my hand.

I am struggling with this one, as I am not keen on vintage-inspired settings with millgrain or filigree patterns.

Currently thinking of a simple Gypsy setting or a 3-stone, with a pair of white Zircon side stones, most likely to be chubby pears. May need to ask Jeff Davies to cut me a pair.

I just received this one carat champagne diamond in a rose gold tulip setting from Ivy and Rose. Impossible to capture its complex color. I know not everyone loves these diamonds but the colors (orangey-yellow pink tint) it shows are so beautiful to me. I just adore it! Have been considering a full Diamond Riviera necklace...but it appeared at just the wrong time for us and disappeared too soon!

Always dreaming of my missed out on 9tcw G VS Step cut Diamonds in Platinum Line bracelet...one day!!!! Fingers Crossed!

I missed these cute little platinum studs the first time, but they popped back in stock and I grabbed them-- .40ct in rosecut diamonds in platinum, $325. I think they were returned because on the mockup modeling shot they look 8mm or so, but in reading the description, .25inch = 6.2mm; not sure if that's for the whole earring or for the flowers themselves. Maybe the flowers will be closer to 5mm in total diameter. We'll see! It's a bit of a mystery-- which is always fun when you're buying :lol-2:

I have been considering inside out hoops for a long time. I thought about AGBF's hoops but I feel they would be too large/heavy for me. Also, I am more of a post earring wearer (which Whiteflash has made in the AGBF hoops, but just decided the circle hoop was not right for my ears). I tried on the Tiffany 4.5ctw inside out hoops years ago but the size was a deterrent and the cost was way above my budget (the photo of these is attached). The 1.1ctw Tiffany ones were in my budget but they were too small. I've finally moved forward and Whiteflash is currently designing my earrings. They will be 2.52ctw inside out J-hoops w/post. 6 diamonds on the outside and 3 on the inside of each earring, which are similar to the design in the photo. I am hoping to get the final CAD today, then production will be about 4 weeks. I've been wearing studs everyday for 7 years and look forward to a new beautiful pair of earrings to wear.

As already posted in other threads, I have secured the roughs for a ring, similar in design to my Theo Fennell inspired Amethyst and sky blue Topaz ring.
It will be a while before they are set.
Here is a quick pic of the roughs taken by Jeff W using his cell/mobile phone.
The blue Zircon will be cut into his signature Asscher about 8mm. The cut and shape of the pink Spinel sides has yet to be determined, however they are likely to be step cut trillions, rounds, or chubby pears.

I think they were made for me! They clocked in at 5.6mm each. Still dainty, but very white and sparkley. Completely eye clean and fun! These are also my first la pousette backs and I'll have to see how I like them. 5218E060-63E8-4F00-89A4-00716CBC6587.jpeg
