Well, I've had time to try on my band and take some pics to share. It's not quite what I expected, though. Could you please take a look and let me know if you would make any suggections?

That''s it! It looks wonderful - where did you find the band?

Yes, it does match. I guess what I was hoping for was a more two toned look. The plat side wraps are so very delicate that you almost don''t see them. FI told me to put them away for a couple weeks and then look again...

The yellow gold is of course the dominant metal but I do notice the platinum accents. The band looks really great with your ering - I wouldn''t say it if it wasn''t so!

It is very different and unique set - and I really like it!

Jim Meyer made it when he made the e-ring. They are both very delicate.

I''m not usually a big yellow gold fan, but those rings look beautiful together.

That band looks great with your e-ring, which is gorgeous, BTW!

Thank you - I appreciate that. Guess I''m being too fussy again; it''s a CURSE!

Ooooo BB, I think they look wonderful together!!
Seems like just the right amount of Plat IMO-- doesn''t steal anything away from that gorgeous E-ring
Any chance of larger pics??

I thought I remembered you saying you were having trouble.. .here are some instructions from the FAQ thread:

1. save the picture
a. right click on the pic you want to save and an options menu will pop up.
b. select ''save picture as'' and save to your computer (*make sure file is in .jpeg format!)
c. save in a ''my picture folder'' or similar for easy access.
2. open the picture from the place you saved it.
3. right click on the picture and select ''edit'' to open in paint.
4. click ''image'' from the menu bar at the top and select ''stretch/scew''
a. if the picture is very large start with at least 50%. make sure that you stretch the same vertically and horizontally until you reach an acceptible size.
5. reduce the picture using ''stretch/scew'' until it measures about 5x7 on your screen.
a. check the size by clicking ''attributes''. the picture should be less than 700 pixels. 500 is a nice size for posting.
6. save the reduced image by selecting ''save as''
a. make sure the file is in .jpeg format (using the drop down menu below the name) and that the filename is unique without any special characters.

Let me know if that doesn''t help!!

ohh, I looooove this! I am curious - what size is your diamond? What is the width size of your band? I love how delicate this looks! I am having a bezel made similar to this, and it looks close to your size.

I really like it. The straightforwardness (if that makes sense) of the band compliments the e-ring nicely, in an opposite kind of way. Basically it doesn''t take away from the ering.

I really love the simplicity of it with your e-ring! The platinum bands aren''t prominant, but you can tell they''re there.

I also really like it BB - is it just the plat you aren''t sure on? Honestly, I think its just the right amount - but if you really want, perhaps JM could add one or two more wrap for you? I think that would look ok, no?

Either way I think your set is so pretty - and your DH has a good idea, put it away for a couple days and look at it with fresh eyes if you feel you are being too discerning right now..

It complements the ring nicely! I usually don''t like the wedding band to be thicker than the e-ring shank, but it really works for your set.
