Please tell me what you think of this stone... it is going for 21300.00. Does the extra facet effect the value of the stone?

Hard to say without pictures/idealscope images...

E/VS1 is overkill... better off looking for an AGS000 ID/ID in the F-G, VS2 range.

Thank you for your invaluable input, I put a deposit on this stone and the vendor is currently holding this stone for me and I am wondering is the extra facet effect the integrity of the stone. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could give me a feedback about this stone.

probably not. If you search ''extra facet'' the general reply is that it isn''t a big deal except if it affects the girdle or the look of the diamond. I have a weenie version that is IF and has an extra facet.

I honestly don''t like the picture, it seems most of the diamond is black and messy. This may be entirely due to angle & lighting. Can the vendor do an Idealscope or Aset for you? That way you''ll have a much more acurate view of the light return.

I don''t care for the diamond photo, either. Is there anyway to get more photos or an Idealscope image? That picture would make me pass on this diamond, but as peridot said, it could just be a bad photo.
