2 months, DH delights in telling everyone that I’m older than him. We started dating in high school when we were 17.
I’m 52 and he’s still 51, hubby’s birthday is coming up in a few weeks!
DH is 6 years, 3 months, 3 weeks and 3 days older than I am. He is 46 this year, and I get a kick out of constantly reminding him I am still in my 30s. Just keeping the old boy young!
Although I only have one more year of that palava! Then in a few years, I can rib him for being 50. Good times.
We are 37 days apart, he is older than me. I enjoy being married to someone close in age. We were both 80’s kids, it’s nice to be able to share the same experiences with shows we watched and toys we played with, it’s great having someone to be nostalgic with.
Mr T is 13 months older than me. I honestly don't think it would matter if the gap was bigger, as we get on incredibly well.
My ex was 22 years older than me. At the time it worked (he looked way younger than he was) but when I think that now I'm busy bee at 46 & he is a happily retired 68 year old, I think no.....
Dr. D is 4 years older than me. It works well for us, though many would think it is too much of an age gap. We have our own circle of friends. We do meet each other's friends occasionally and otherwise give each other the space to have a life of our own We have been together for almost 10 years now.
I voted 1 year because there wasn't a <1 year option. We're 4 months apart, and I'm older. My parents are 7 years apart, and my grandparents were 8 years and 13 years apart, respectively. I very much wanted a partner closer in age to me, though in all honesty it would never have been a deal breaker.
