Haha same! It’s also extra hilarious right now since he had some bumps and detours in his education. So he’s currently a medical student and I’m faculty and have directorship roles. Don’t worry, not in the same school/hospital! His classmates all think I’m the coolest spouse.

The 10-year difference between me and my late husband was me as the older.

29 years.
28 years and 9 months to be more precise.

His family tends to live well into 90s and beyond in mostly good health. Mine tends to be less good that way... I would not be shocked if I die first.

He looks much younger than he is with people assuming he is in his 40s or maybe 50s. I look older than I am (according to people who comment) with people assuming I am already in my mid to late 40s.

My mother was 12 years older than my father, and they had a hugely happy marriage, so I was brought up knowing that age differences don't have to matter at all.

I remember way back when hubby and met I was very worried about the difference. We are happily matched and the difference is not an issue at all. I would 100% recommend too.

Like Holly Jane, ten years difference BUT like MMtwo I was the older one; when we married he was 30 and I was 40. Lasted 29 years until he died of cancer. Now my firstborn kid is five DAYS younger than her hubby and they have been married 42 years (married DURING senior year of high school!)
