YG band/Sapphires vs Plat band/Diamonds - cost diff?

Quick question: Can someone tell me on average how much a thin platinum band with pave diamond is priced vs a YG band with yellow sapphires? Should they be comparable or is one drastically lower in terms of cost? Thanks!

Yellow Gold with yellow sapphires will be cheaper as the price of PLAT and diamonds is much higher.

Adding - that even with the platinum and diamond band, there are good/better/best manufacturers that use a variety of quality of diamonds and setting styles, too, so there could be a wide range of prices in that category alone.

One thing my DH always tells me, but I have been known not to listen to ( ) - "you get what you pay for"! Just advice to make your choice based on quality and not always on price.

I am looking into SK bands for either or, and his quote was $2.2K for plat/diamond and $1.5K for YG/sapphires. Does that sound about right? Many thanks in advance!

SK's prices will always be higher as you pay a preimum for his work. If you want a cheaper option then check out the IDJ bands which are only a few hundred. As Enerchi said you get what you pay for. The IDJ bands are lovely (I own one), but it doesn't really compare to my SK ring. However, I have a preloved diamond eternity (non brand name) that looks very close to my LM eternity.

If you are unsure then just shop around and get quotes.
