Yellowish Orange diamond

During their July sale, I purchased a fancy intense yellowish orange diamond from Leibish. It's a lovely little pear and is pretty much exactly as pictured and described. The only difference is that the GIA report says it fluoresces a medium blue but when I shine my (long wave) UV light on it, it looks like it's fluorescing yellow or orange.

oo I love it! What a gorgeous colour! I never used to "get" pear love, but I think I'm turning around, after seeing such gorgeous pears lately. Can't wait to see it haloed!

Mmm, it's beautiful and a nice FCD size too.
FWIW I've noticed a couple of mine also have florescence that does not seem to match the GIA report.
I wonder if GIA uses some certain type of UV light or some combo of UV with white light when grading fluor.

Yep. Never ask. Just assume. And present your assumptions. "Excuse me, are you 63, 15 stone, and a size 13?". Always goes down well.

Especially if you miss by a couple of digits. Good fun.
