8DA8BE2D-0403-43EC-9BB8-6898EA3673F0.jpeg I ordered on line two of those “temp” gem holder ring thingys after seeing on PS that such a thing existed ! I know, where have I been all my life!
Doesn’t it make a difference seeing a loose gem “sort of how it will look set”. Maybe it’s me, but I really couldn’t “see” how these sapphires might look on my finger.
Took me a minute to work them out - ha ha, bit slow I’m afraid.
Excuse my horrible fingernails.

Where have you bought the stone holders from? I have one silver colored, but it’s almost crooked, and I would need a new one!

I really worry about those stone holders in ring or tweezer form. Many people have scratched/chipped their stones in them, or the stone flew out of the setting . Be very careful,

Ditto this! I chipped a few spinels with those ring holder things. :(2:(2:(2

I love your sapphires, especially the lighter one. Is it a bit silky? Reminds me of a chrysoberyl I have.

Both of those sapphires look setting worthy!! :D

That sapphire on the right. Omg what a beautiful colour

Your sapphires are so pretty! They look lovely me they are good sizes too!

.

Digressing,

The light yellow sapphire in your ring would make a nice poster kid for crystal - it is so clear !

Love that bright yellow sapphire! It's on my list of gems to have. They remind me of a sunny day...bright and happy! :D

Thank you.
My “clueless” bench jeweller, who does fabulous things with metal, thought it was a lovely fancy yellow diamond. I wish!

Dunno ...

Sapphires are something else. The simple diamond cut models that I tend to, with few facets, have something of the look of light sapphires, with the scarcer internal reflections native to them.

Just a thought.

Diamond sides of matching light yellow would be FUN

I was about the say exactly the same thing before I read the comments from the others, those stone holders are meant for diamonds and hard stones, it's really easy to chip and crack gemstones in them.
