I am drooling over all these BEAUTIFUL halo rings and I have never seen one in yg. I am allergic to nickel so no white for me. Anyone have any pics?

YUMMY! Especially the yellow stone in the center! Every piece of jewelry I own is yellow gold and I dont like the look of mixing the colors...unless it is two tone, so I WOULD do a yg/plat two tone or yg/palladium two tone. Thanks so far and keep them coming!

How fun, I'll play. I used to wear ONLY YG until I met my fiance. He has made me make the switch to WG, but I still appreciate the luster of YG. I am also IN LOVE with Rose Gold. Have you considered that April? I'll start with a lovely pink colored stone in a RG halo:

That was my thought as well. If you genuinely prefer yellow metals, April, that''s one thing--but don''t rule out all white metals because of the nickel allergy

I wonder if there are fewer YG halos because pavé is not as safe in gold (any color) as in platinum. Or if it''s just because fashion leans toward white metals right now (though I have a feeling we''re on the edge of that switching back to yellow).

Well, I guess this would sorta count........YG halo with FY diamonds. The shank however is in WG.

Is there nickel in natural white gold, or is it only present when the wg is rhodium plated to make it look more white?

I ask because my hubby chose to get a natural white gold wedding band, and it is really beautiful. It isn''t as white as rhodium-plated wg, but it isn''t yellow, either. He''s out now, but I''ll get a picture for you when he comes home. If you can wear natural wg, I would definitely look into it, it''s so warm and decadent looking, in my opinion.
