Yellow diamond mounting

I have a 2.25 ct oval diamond and I'm looking for a mounting. All my jewelry is 14K yellow gold.
I really like the oval / yellow diamond ring on JB stars home page. Do you think this ring would look ok in yellow gold?? Will yellow gold "wash away" the yellow diamonds? Has anyone seen a yellow diamond in yellow gold? Thanks

The yellow diamonds in this collection all appear to have gold prongs in a platinum setting. I think that a yellow diamond would look nice in yellow gold. But hey, I'm biased 'cause platinum doesn't look good on my skin tone
