Yelling at the TV....

Or maybe we are all horribly misguided and butterfly catching/carrot peeling etc is where it's at!!!

How about a bling catcher? I could go for this...and as an added benefit I think it captures happy dreams too...

I can't even bear to watch house hunters anymore. Perfectly fine bathrooms are "too small" Or master bedrooms as big as my whole house is "too tight" whatever man...lol

My favorites are the ones that want a short commute, then complain they are too close to their neighbors. In a large metro area. In California.

Have you won the lottery recently? :lol:

This is a NICE find in the bay area, for ONLY a million dollars, and for the area, the lot is huge. And it's still going to get multiple offers and go for 1.3 million when all is said and done. https://www.redfin.com/CA/San-Mateo/517-Poinsettia-Ave-94403/home/1863386

And you'll have to put in 150k to renovate it. More if you want to add a second bath. :$$):

I watch house hunters for the giggle factor. Who are these people? I do like the new reno show in Tennessee - Home Town - and I also like Fixer Upper.

@LaylaR that is ridiculous.

Those home shows make me depressed! Either the buyers are beyond wealthy, or they have the ability to find nice houses with property for $150K-$300K. I sit here looking at downsizing to something that is $900K, which honestly, is out of the budget! By the time I can afford granite countertops that they all want ($4K for my tiny kitchen btw), they will be completely out of style. Bleh!:eek2:

Hi Layla! Sorry to drift off topic here, but I don't know how to find out more about the ring in your avatar outside of posting here. That setting is divine! Did you post the deets on another website now that you are "trade"?

@Mikla, The ring and setting in my picture are not mine, sadly. But the diamond is a CBI and the setting is the HPD Lily, which I designed with Melissa at HPD. If you'd like to know more, feel free to reach out off the boards!

@leukolenos Yup. It is truly insane out here. Now whoever bought it (it might be a flip) will have to sink a ton of money in it to renovate it. So by the time they are done they've spent nearly 1.4 million. For a house that in most areas would cost 150k at most. On Fixer Upper that house would be the 50k house for the person with the 150,000 budget.
