Re: Yay it's done! My JbEG "Julia", thank you Grace and Eric
Aww, thank you everyone for the nice comments!! Fedex delivery man will be my best friend for the day. I can't wait for tomorrow!!
About the stone: it is a modern 8-main cushion brilliant. J color, VVS1 clarity. it's 2.09 carats, (7.73x7.71). My fiance purchased the stone from Mark at ERD, but CCL found the stone for me through Bluenile. My next diamond purchase will definitely be a lovely antique stone from JbEG, they have many that are to.die.for. And they are such great people to work with, just absolutely amazing. My wedding band will be a five stone band made by JbEG as well, so watch out in the coming months!
Here is what the old setting looked like, which we chose at a pretty rushed pace. Our plan all along had been to reset at some point and get one in platinum (the old one was WG). I searched for months and months, dragging my friends and family into jewelry stores to find inspiration, but nothing was really coming out at me. It wasn't till I saw the new signature lines from JbEG that I went to my fiance, and I said "THIS ONE." He liked it too, so off my stone went!

It's HEEEEEERREEE
My fedex delivery man came this morning and said to me, "someone really wanted you to have this, good thing you're home!"
It's SO BEAUTIFUL, and I am so in love with my ring! It's much much more delicate in person and I couldn't be happier! I just couldn't wait to share with everyone, and seriously, Grace and Erica are the nicest people I've ever worked with. I can't express how happy I am that we went with these ladies for this project.
So here they are! These are all pictures I had to take with my iPhone, but I will use a better camera later tonight and hopefully get better pictures in the next couple of days.
