Hello all!!
I got engaged on June 11th while on vacation in the Bahamas. I've been waiting for the PS upgrade to post details and pics of course. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my ring and it was custom made for me by Pete at Quest Jewelers in VA. Working with Quest was a dream and we will be going back for wedding bands. The center stone was one I found from the virtual inventory and I had Pete call it in for us to view back in March. My fiance said that once he saw it he knew it was the one....he started getting chills!! LOL I got sent to the car while they worked out details even though he wasn't prepared to buy a stone that day. Here are the stats:
Center stone (I call it my disco ball)
I VS2 1.22 Carat Round
GIA Certified Laser Inscribed
6.87 x 6.93 x 4.19
Cut Grade: Excellent
Depth Percentage: 60.7%
Table Percentage: 57%
Pavillion Depth Percentage: 43%
Pavillion Angle (in degrees): 40.6
Crown Height in Percentage: 14.5%
Crown Angle (in degrees): 34
Star length: 50%
Lower Half: 80%
Girdle: Medium – Slightly Thick, Faceted
Culet: None
Symmetry: Excellent
Polish: Excellent
Fluorescence: None
Scored 0.6 on the HCA
I'm a size 4 the ring is thin and dainty and measures about 1.97mm. It has 52 full cut accent diamonds going up the prongs and the basket and I would say it's a 3/4 eternity. I got a Euro shank on it to minimize spinning. It sparkles like mad and I can't see any color in it for an I. It's gorgeous and in the bright sunlight it's just awesome. More pics to come!!
