Well, I've gone and done it...made my first colored stone purchase! In fact, I had a little frenzy. What can I say, I was overcome! Two came in the mail today, what fun it was to open the package!

Thanks, athenaworth, yes getting the mail is great fun! I forgot to say that the green one is a merelani mint garnet. He's a little guy at .74 cts. The purple is a 1.34 ct spinel. I'm very happy with both, but the mint is yummy to me.

Athenaworth- my kitty (Amelia, but I call her Stinky Pinkleton) is a ball of sassiness. She does this crazy nose wrinkle thing when I talk to her. She makes me laugh every day, I hope your kitty will bring you as much happiness as Amelia (and her 6 siblings - call me the crazy cat lady!) has brought me.

Packrat, thanks, these came from ebay, seller by the name of Weblorn. She was very good to deal with, and I think the photos were a good representation of the actual stones. I also have 2 coming from mastercut, and 3 from Dan Stair.
