XOE rings? Engraved in my handwriting?

I'm picking out my husband's wedding band and I want it to be something different but I don't like diamonds on a men's band usually. I have found a black and white diamond band that isn't bad. But I think I like the idea of just getting a band for him and engraving it in my handwriting! Has anyone gotten anything engraved in their handwriting before? I was thinking of getting the XOE ring for him (not sure on which metals I would pick yet) and engraving at least the inner band with my own handwriting. Any suggestions would be appreciated! I'm good at picking out my own diamond ring, but this men's ring stuff is tricky!
