Still over the moon, and completely in love with my ring, can’t stop staring at it!
So last week, my bf told me we were going away for the night on xmas eve eve which was my xmas present, but where we were going was a surprise. Turns out we were going to the Lake District, and my bf had booked a room in a lovely boutique guest house, a couple of mins walk from Lake Windermere, gorgeous views, helped by the snow we’d had! We checked in and had a drink in the room, bf tells me to close my eyes, I open them and he’s standing there with the ring in one hand and a glass of limoncello in the other! (it was because we’d had an amazing holiday in the summer in Sorrento where they make it and he had some left over, and I don’t like champagne, v thoughtful of him!). He sat down next to me and said “I think it’s about time we did this...will you marry me?” and put the ring on my finger
My ring size is 4, but it is a little big at times, but not big enough to come off, it just spins a little when my hands are wet, so I think I’ll leave it as it is.
