Have you seen this jewelry co. yet? Louis XV. They have some of the most amazing pieces there. Some of the biggest gems in the world. I bought from them for the first time a few months ago and they have become my favorite place. The people there are so nice! I am addicted! AAAAAHHHH!!!
Anyway, check them out if you have not already.

Check out their world famous gems collection... gorgeous!

Wow, gorgeous things, and the nice thing is that they have prices from the very very affordable (in the hundreds of dollars for a substantial ring) to the upper end, like Cartier. I''ve never seen that before, most places are either very inexpensive and have lower range goods, or are very expensive and have higher end goods.

Thanks for the website.

I have seen their web site before but have not been to their store.

Can you post pics of what you bought from them? I am very interested to see what it looks like "live" as opposed to a rendering... I have my eye on a few things...

I've been to the store in Phoenix and they have some really gorgeous things!

One point to keep in mind is to really read the fine print of the items; some of the white pave is what they call "diamond cut" white sapphires instead of actual diamonds. I was specifically looking for diamond pave earrings and they tried to convince me this was just as good an option, but it was only a fraction less $ than real diamonds. But everything in the store *looked* beautiful and I'm definitely going back to the store when we make our annual Phoenix trip over Thanksgiving to see if there's anything there that I want Santa to leave in my stocking this year!

iluvgems, are you going to post pics of your purchase for us? I''m interested to see what you got from them.

I''m sorry it''s been so long, I have been so busy and just now came back to the forum and saw the request for pictures. I am horrible at taking pictures, but I did my best. I guess you can only attach 1 image at a time per post, so I will have to do several. Just remember these photos don''t do the jewelry justice at all!

Anyway, here is a picture of the Getty Ring I bought, I actually get more compliments on this ring than any other piece of jewelry I own. I think the design is very unique and I was blow away that it only cost me $699 plus shipping. I have never seen a ring of this quality and size anywhere else for that great of price.

This is the first piece of jewelry I bought from Louis XV and now I am hooked!

Here is a link to their web page that shows a better photo of the ring.

By the way, for the life of me I can''t seem to figure out how to change my profile picture!! Can anyone tell me how to do that?

The "Flare Pave Hoop Earrings" are the second item I purchased from Louis XV.

I saw that Dee Jay posted above...

"One point to keep in mind is to really read the fine print of the items; some of the white pave is what they call "diamond cut" white sapphires instead of actual diamonds. I was specifically looking for diamond pave earrings and they tried to convince me this was just as good an option, but it was only a fraction less $ than real diamonds..."

In my experience with buying those earrings, I actually had been doing the same, I was looking for a pair of Diamond Pave hoops and they were all very expensive no matter where I looked. I called the Louis XV store and spoke to a nice guy there and asked about diamond hoops. He did have a pair of Diamond Pave hoops that were a little less than the other companies I checked out, but they were still asking for about $8,000. Other places were charging at least $12,000 for 8 carats of Diamonds in pave hoop earrings.

So yes, diamond cut white sapphires are a great alternative to Diamonds.

For 8 carats of diamond cut white sapphires I paid $1,199 plus shipping, that''s not even close to the cost of diamonds. And they really have been a great substitute. I wear them almost everyday, they are great for everyday things and look great for going out to dinner.

And they call them diamond cut because they are diamond cut, which means they are cut like diamonds which gives it the same kind of sparkle.

Why spend $12,000 when I can get the same effect for $1,200?

Anyway, here is the link for those.

I actually bought this ring at the same time I got the Pink Aura Ring, but since I can''t post more than one pic at a time I will have to do that next.

I love, love, love peridot! I never owned anything peridot before I got this ring, so I took a chance and bought it. It actually goes very well with most of my clothes. And it''s one of those rings, just like the Aura ring I bought too, that I can wear with anything for any occasion.

The Aura ring is INSANELY GORGEOUS! I have this thing now for pave jewelry!!! :)

The peridot cache ring has a two-tone gold setting (white and yellow gold) which is great because I can wear other white or yellow gold jewelry at the same time and it all matches.

This ring was only $1,099 that is an amazing price! I can''t believe I used to be paranoid about buying jewelry online, Louis XV has been awesome!

Here is the link for the peridot ring.

You have to see all of these pieces in person, my photographs seriously don''t do the jewelry any justice.

I got this pink sapphire ring at the same time as the peridot cache ring.

I absolutely love it!

It was more than I have spent there in the past, but still an amazing value.

The price was $2,599 for over 4.5 carats of Pink Sapphires. This ring truly has an amazing presence. I''ve only had it for a week and a 1/2, so I''ve only worn it a few times and I have received a bunch of compliments on it. Not that I''m trying to impress anyone, but it does feel great to get compliments on something you buy because it''s fun!

Here is the link for the pink aura ring on Louis XV''s site.

I just got this ring 2 days ago. Do you see what I mean, I am addicted!!!! But seriously I love jewelry and have never been able to afford jewelry like this, so when I found Louis XV I decided to finally treat myself because I actually can now!

I wore this ring out to dinner last night and I really like it. It''s definitely a "statement ring"! It''s a classy looking but fun ring to wear.

The center blue topaz stone is over 14 carats and they are only asking $899 for it!!!!!!!

It has this hinge sort of design so that it sits more comfortable on your finger, I actually like that about it. I guess some Tiffany''s rings have the same hinge feature.

Here is the link for the blue topaz majesty ring.

Hopefully I won''t take so long to respond next time! Sorry about that, it''s just crazy this time of year!

Good luck!

WOW!!! Thank you for coming back and posting the pictures. They are all gorgeous, but the peridot ring is by far my favorite from all of them!!!! I had been wondering what their jewelry looked like IRL as opposed to renderings. Well thank you for answering my question!

Enjoy all of your beautiful pieces!!!!

Your rings are gorgeous! Please post handshots!

Those are beautiful pieces, Iluvgems! Thanks for posting pics. If you get a chance, I''d love to see hand shots/ear shots to get an idea of perspective...those are big, beautiful stones and gorgeous settings and I just wonder what they look like on someone''s hand. I love seeing "real life" pics of people''s sparklies! Btw, congrats on your recent acquisitions!!!

This is simply a stunning ring! This looks wonderful. I looked at their site and they do have some great looking items. Congratulations! You'll be proud of this for many years to come.

Hi everyone,

Ok, I took some pics of the jewelry on. I don''t like to post head shots on the internet, and getting these pictures up here takes some time. So I''ll put a few up so you can see what the jewelry looks like on. It''s kind of a pain because I can''t attach more than one pic per post.

Anyway, here is the Getty Ring, you really need to see the jewelry in person though.

No problem.

They have Blue Topaz too in the cache!
Treat yourself, it really is a beautiful pendant!

I think they also have a matching Cache ring in Blue topaz.
That''s the ring that I posted pics of that is peridot (green).

Good luck!
