So i was on the couch researching diamonds on BGD and my wife was looking over my shoulder (she said for 30 min)....like a mouse I might add.

"Cough" what are you looking at?

Ugh..your upgrade..

I hope your not going to just buy me one diamond because I like many diamonds. So we talk for a few hours about what she wants and Its alot less than what I was going to get her. Which is good in a sense BUT she doesnt care about any of the 4 c's. She just wants a ring that blings...ugh!

She fell in love with this online but when she tried it on she said, the diamonds are too small and were paying too much for the Tiffany brand. Any advice on where to find similar bands?

Well the Belle ring you linked to is just the setting for $5450 so you'll have to spend more to get a good-sized stone to put in it. Since she knows you're looking, maybe you should have a talk with her to figure out what she likes? Then get her what she likes.

Totally understand the link was for a setting.

Any advice for finding vendors with quality diamonds on wedding bands?

She definitely liked this one and the 6 row from BGD.

Has anyone had problems with returns with BGD if you were not satisfied?

Pretty. I've returned an item to BGD with no problem. You just call them and they send you a FedEx label to print and then drop off.

Two things to note (and they may not bother you):
1. Eternity rings are difficult to resize. If your wife's finger sizes changes in the future, you'll need to get a new ring.
2. This one doesn't use BGD signature melee. I think the stones come from an outside vendor.

Good call....your input is much appreciated.

You said upgrade, does she want a new e-ring, band or rhr? I love the split shank setting you picked out but would that replace her current set?

When she said she likes many diamonds is she saying she doesn't want a solitaire type ring? Or does she not mind a larger diamond but surrounded by melee (halo). Or does she want a multi-stone ring?

If she's looking for a band with multiple stones, some type of eternity ring might be nice and there are some threads for both eternity and 5 stones rings in the Show Me the Bling section you (y'all) can look at. She may not know anything about the "4 C's" but she knows she wants something sparkly and so I would get the best quality stones you can. Don't skimp on the cut quality. That is what makes a diamond sparkly and not the color or (in most cases) the clarity. Rarely does clarity play a factor in the sparkle.

she currently has a plain 14 k wedding band. so im trying to get her edumacted on how diamond pricing works and i think thats why anything with a diamond would satisfy her. BUT i dont want her to regret what she buys.

Im trying to influence her to get the best of both worlds with a center stone and a nice setting.

Does anyony experience losing their diamonds from a band?

is it more common with micro pave?

This is a custom ring made by BGD but I thought it was a good replica for the Tiffany ring you posted the ling too. Its super blingy. I'm not sure it would be any cheaper than the Tiffany ring but it will be better made with much better quality stones so overall it would know the Tiff ring out of the water.
