Wow...the new Heidi Montag

and think she was perfectly just fine before...

I thought she was very pretty before the surgery. I think its a shame that such a young woman would have this much done. It just goes to show that no matter how you look there will still be things about ourselves that we hate.

I think it would make me jump if I looked in the mirror and I didn't really look like myself anymore.

I''m definitely not anti-plastic surgery (if I was, I''d be a hypocrite), but she''s just gone too far. All that work at only 23? So sad. I thought she looked fine originally, and I''ll admit that I actually really liked her face after she got the nose job. This is just too much. Botox? At 23? What is this world coming to?

Wow, she looks like a creepy barbie doll now. She looked so much better before any surgeries (though even after the second she didn't look too bad). It's so sad that she has such obvious body issues.

I did want to add that she's still very swollen - my mom had a face lift and it took about 6 months before she looked "normal" again. Now she looks great, but for those 6 months I kept thinking "What the heck did you do mom? You look scary!" Lol. Though she was in her 50s and needed to have her eyelids done. Heidi is 23 and doesn't need to have a darn thing done. I'm really curious to see how she looks once the swelling goes down and she can move her face again - I'm sure she'll look much less scary than she does now, at least.

Oh, and ditto the obnoxious boobs comments. I'm a D and feel they're obnoxious!

I always thought she was really pretty. I''m not anti plastic surgery at all and I can''t possibly judge of course, but from my standpoint the surgeries were unnecessary and not an improvement.

She does look very old now. Awfulplasticsurgery.com compares her photo to Daryl Hannah. I think Daryl Hannah looks much better than Heidi, she doesn''t have that generic look to her.

Smurfy--I think you''re right. LA is such a weird place. Starting next fall, my sister will be living there for five years for grad school, so I asked her to promise not to get any plastic surgery.

I would so never fit in in LA--I won''t even take an Advil, let alone get elective surgery.

I went to graduate school in LA for five years...and no worries, didn''t get any plastic surgery. I did, however, develop a love for jewelry LOL.

I think she looked fine before the op - but my goodness, those boobs! Whoever said they looked obnoxious, I totally agree.

And the ears?! To a certain level, I understand that - I have ears that stick out too! - but I would never get mine surgically altered.

I was thinking the same thing. I look at pictures of myself taken shortly after I "had a little work done"

and I don''t think I look good at all. When people were mentioning how things look crooked, I figured that''s the reason. Swelling rarely happens symmetrically. Maybe after the botox wears out and the swelling goes down, she''ll look a little less freaky and old. Who knows though. I still think it''s a shame.

I don''t presume to know what it''s like to absolutely need to alter your body so much you''re basically unrecognizable as yourself, but I do think she was pretty before her original surgeries, and now I''m not sure I could distinguish her from any of the other 11ty MTV "celebrities" parading themselves around these days.

Ick. And.. does anyone else think ''OUCH'' when you look at her chest? I hate the size of my own because its so hard to find shirts that STAY BUTTONED AND DONT GAP.. Yep, my first thoughts about the boobs are ''owch" and "**** star". And dito about the gap, I can''t really wear shirts because I think the gap is a bit undignified but if I get a shirt big enough not to gap I look swamped.

The saddest part of all ... she's going to go online & read all the people trashing her & saying how awful the surgery is and how weird she looks AND SHE'S GOING TO GO STRAIGHT INTO MORE SURGERIES. Body dysmorphic disorder. She has it. Sometimes it can be a bit situational (like showbiz induced narcissism vs. narcissistic personality disorder) but whatever it is: sads.

i have no judgement against those who choose plastic surgery, but i think in her case there''s clearly a major psychological issue behind it- even in her own words, an "obsession".

its disheartening to see such a young person so full of self hate.

How does plastic surgery age?? I mean she''s so young, has she just signed herself up for upkeep every 5 yrs forever??

The boobs totally gross me out. I''m large chested, but my large butt is proportionate. When you lose all proportion it''s just icky! I actually noticed that her butt doesn''t look as good with the bigger boobs.

I know there are lots of people that look great and still opt for plastic surgeries. So, I''m trying not to judge her decision, but the outcome has a lot to be desired.
