I wonder if most of the diamonds created this new way will be for industrial use. Gemstone quality diamonds will take some time to perfect, don't you think? But when it happens, will be very interesting for all of us!

I know what you mean but let's take a look at the history

The process of Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) was invented in 1960 and the quality of the crystals was not good at that time.

so no matter the crystals' quality now, it can be improved later for sure, and you are right about the time it takes.

but this is the turning point, right?
