Why is that an issue? You send them a stone, they grade it. They don't pick and choose what they grade.

Well, of course they are in it for the money. Is there anyone who believes otherwise?

Use for this diamond: Make an example of it. The best jeweler in my ex-city used to proudly offer a "1ct $1999" diamond solitaire ring in his display case, right there beside his best merchandise. Looked just like the rings from the Mall. It's probably still there.
