I agree the earrings, but I have to say I wear my 5 ctw braclet 24/7 - never had a problem.

Earrings first...but ooooh do I want a diamond bracelet right now! I agree though that the earrings are a more basic piece that you''ll wear more often. :)

I''d go with the studs too... they''re the perfect everyday accessory, whereas I feel like the tennis bracelet would be a more special occasion type piece (so get that one later

Bracelet--and a bezel one at that!
I''d like to be able to gaze at the stones

I agree...as much as I love earrings, I can only see them if I am looking in a mirror. My bracelet I can stare at all day long

.

I have a 2ctw tennis bracelet that is half belzel set and it is perfect for daily wear.

i would say the bracelet because you can admire it on your wrist all day long, you can only admire the earrings in the mirror.

My pictures do not do it justice at all...but here you go! What I love the most (other than it is made of diamonds and gold) is that my husband totally surprised me with it one year for Christmas. I had wanted one and he knew it, but my DH is the kind that loves me very much and choses to give me instant lotto tickets as gifts, lol....so it was extra special that he went and picked it all on his own

wait...you''re not suppose to wear a tennis bracelet everyday? And Sharon101, you lost TWO bracelets

?!

Earrings first for sure... as studs are a staple.

But, as others have mentioned as well, I wear my 6ctw tennis bracelet everyday and even on weekends in sweats with no problems getting it on or off and it never snags on anything. It''s part of my daily jewelry wear.

It''s all relative to what you get used to.

Earrings!! That will be my next diamond purchase. I really want to have some studs and a pendant to wear everyday with my e-ring. Once I have those, I''ll venture out into bracelets and RHRs.

I usually wear bracelets and watches and hardly ever wear earrings, but I still definately vote for the studs - they are on my wish list for sure !
I'm not a fan of buying diamond jewellery that can't be worn much

Where are you planning to shop js_diamond?

Yes, lost 2 at the same time!!!! One was ruby and diamond from India (gift from my FIL who knows beautiful jewellery) & one was diamond bezel about 4 carats. I think the problem was with the catches?

The insurance $ was used to buy our plasma tv

and a 6 carat tennis bracelet for me

.

But the tennis bracelet became unstable maybe due to the design. I was adviced not to wear it by independent jewellers. The links sort of clicked together like leggo at the back & this was the problem. The top was a very delicate 3 prong and very pretty.

My mil has a massive 12 plus tennis bracelet and I dont think she has any wear and tear problems as it is a very heavy but unattractive setting.

If the design is dainty or delicate, the gold will wear as it is a soft metal. Well thats been my experience anyway.

Earrings! I really want some right now. I have my e-ring and a pretty .25 ct pendant, but I feel like something''s missing without some diamonds studs. If only I didn''t constantly lose earrings!

Have you tried wearing screwbacks? I''ve heard that they''re really hard to remove, so I suppose that will also help keep the earring on ur ears!

earrings, for all the reasons mentiond.

I think your bracelet is gorgeous. And the memories around the surprise would be forever uplifting imo!!!!

Your dh is definately a keeper!

earrings so you could wear them everyday!

Hmm, so it seems studs win. I wear my David Yurman bracelet daily so I am used to wearing something around my wrist. I love the look of both--simple elegance, but I think the studs may just have to come first. I am planning to go to my jeweler in the diamond district in NYC.

Btw, Dana your bracelet is gorgeous! It makes me want a bracelet so bad.

Earrings!

i LOVE earrings so i say go for those first. i wear all my pairs everyday and take them off everyday for a cleaning. obsessed much?!?

Bracelet...but maybe that''s because I don''t have one!

I love my diamond earrings and pendant, but it pains me that I can''t stare at them all day like I do with my e-ring! lol

What a lovely predicament you are in!

ps. earrings

Bracelet.

But then, I''m biased: not only do I LOVE my hands and absolutely hate my ears...

...but my ears aren''t pierced.

So bracelet, indefinitely.

I think earrings!!!! You can make them match with anything as opposed to a bracelet which I always feels looks more fancy... But get something that you want! They are both good things to have

P.S. ninama- is your avatar from Erica Grace?? LUCKY!!!!

Bracelet.

oi...i hope you have better luck this time! And now i will be super careful with my bracelet. As for the question...i would say bracelet because with my earrings i''m so paranoid that they are going to get caught on my hair or clothes when i''m changing and go flying...

I am DESPERATE for a bracelet... I have earrings... and I''m trying really hard to think like I don''t... but... then I realized... that''s the answer! I have a set of hoops, and 2 sets of studs (rounds and princess)... so obviously I wanted earrings first! LOL!
