Happy New Year! I'm new here and looking for any and all opinions on this diamond. I purchased it for $2750 from James Allen but am still within the return time frame. Do you think this is a good price for the quality?

Thank you!

Wendy

If I wanted a colorless stone, I would buy a larger F color VS1-VS2 clarity stone rather than a smaller D VVS. You would be hard pressed to tell the difference between the two, and princess cuts can look small, so I would definitely go larger in F VS.

Understandable but I actually like the size...not looking for larger! With that being said, sparkle and fire are important to me. Is $2750 a good price or can I get the same look with the diamond you suggested?

Just trying to show you an example of a potential stone. It is a good idea to choose three and ask for ASET images before making a decision.

Unfortunately, this is the only ideal cut princess I am seeing in colorless VS in your price range at James Allen, but this is the cut you would be aiming for:

Be sure you ask for the pricescope discount, too!
