would you consider a K stone for a pendant?

I think going with H is a good idea. In a pendant in some lighting I think you would notice color in something with a lower color grade.

Of course!

I would in a second, I have a K ring and I see no color as long as it is a well cut stone.

I once sent a K to a lady on approval. She sent it back. It was so well cut she could not see the color well enough so she ended up with an M color.

It is a matter of taste, many people LIKE the color in a warmer diamond.

very true - I think some people prefer the warmer tones instead of the cold, icy look. I tend to like them as white and icy as possible.

I bought a beautiful M (thanks Wink) to put in a bezel pendant. Of course you can see the warmth in some lighting but considering a pendant is viewed further away than a ring, I much preferred being able to afford a larger stone than a smaller whiter one. Once on, it looks pretty darn white.

Thanks everyone for your great replies! I ended up choosing the H stone. It will be set into a BGD barbara pendant and I can''t WAIT to see it! I''ll be sure to post photos! (This will be my 5-yr anniversary - and just got a raise - gift!)
