In the early years I would say yes he was my best friend.

Oh my gosh NO. NO. NO. I would not say that at all. My husband is many things, protector, lover etc. But not my best friend. We are really, really different. He intrinsic understands the darker part of my personalities, and my issues BUT he doesn''t get the day to day vents. If something goes wrong at work, or I feel silly, stupid, I call my sister. In many ways, she just understands my *life* better.

But I admire couples that do say that their husband is their best friend. I think it''s just a different dynamic in a relationship.

Obviously my hubby is a lot more than a best friend to me, but yes he is absolutely my best friend. The person I tell when I am having a bad day, the person who lifts me up, the person who is always always there for me.

absolutely! we share everything with one another and we are very close... i have girl best friends too and i may choose to talk to them about certain topics (girly things) but ultimately, my husband is my best friend in the whole world.

Yeah I definitely call D my best friend-he knows me like no one else-I can tell him anything and we have so much fun together. I also have another best friend who''s been my best friend for years. D adores him and we all hang out together quite a bit of the time.

We''re best friends. I don''t really have a girl best friend. I have a lot of close friends, but no one physically close to me. Most of my close friends live far away. DH doesn''t really have friends. He has acquaintances and co-workers. No close friends.

I know him better than anyone else. I think he knows me very well. My mom does, too.
