Would you buy this SI2?

For the price and as earrings, why not. Anyone getting close enough to see the “flaws” had better only be close family, otherwise, downright rude!

One minute I agree with you, the next minute I think if that's not an I1, not sure what is...

That is a big mark...and right in the center.

I can’t imagine you’d see that on a 0.47ct stone unless you’re looking at it closely in a ring. In an earring? No. I concur with Bron357, don’t get that close to someone’s ear! If you still doubt, you can ask JA if an stone is eye clean.

I'd think twice. The problem is that you can see the dark spot in every facet. If you watch the little video there are times when you can see the spot 8 or 10 times at once. That might interfere with the visual patterns of the light, which is why you buy an H&A in the first place.

I really have no idea if I am right, I would just be concerned.

Yeah for sure. It’s studs. That would not be that noticeable. I have a carbon inclusion in the middle of my studs you can’t see them at all o bathe ear.

I'm not comfortable with it seeming to be so close to the surface of the table.

I could almost guarantee nobody would ever see that spot on someone’s ear. I say go for it

Post pics when you get it...let us know what you think of the inclusion...

There you go @Unearthed! Have you found it a mate yet?

:appl:

I'm down to step down in everything except for the size and cut I want. It's worked for every diamond I've purchased so far. I marvel at people's stones on PS...I just don't have the bankroll for them!

Speaking as someone who has SI1 diamond studs, i say the stone will be perfectly fine as an earring. It's cut well, that's the important part.

Well, I got them! They look fantastic to me! I have studied them in every light possible and I cannot tell which one is the SI2. I'm sure someone with a better eye than me probably could.

Couldn't be more pleased!

Great job!
