Would this De Beers ring be hard to replicate? Any similar online?

GF likes the de beers forever pave (please see link below, sorry I could not get attachment to work). I plan to get a custom made ring to look the same as de beers (unless we find one she likes more) but plan to put a ~2ct round stone instead of the 1 1/2 de beers uses (de beers only goes up to 1 1/2 with ths design). The De beers uses 1 point diamonds (8 on each side). Would those look wierd with a bigger stone? I don''t think so because it looked great with the 1.5, so 2 isn''t that much bigger.

Anyway, does this ring look look like it would be pretty easy for another jeweler to design? Have you seen anyone online stores selling a ring that looks very similar to this one? Thank you very much!!!

That is quite a common style, any skilled bench will be able to replicate it easily.
Here are a couple examples from Whiteflash, I can''t tell if yours is shared prong or pave set, but personally I love the Legato micropave with a larger diamond:

I too really liked this ring when I saw it at the De Beers store. I bought a stone from Whiteflash and wanted them to replicated that ring. I went to the De Beers store and took several pictures of the setting so that I could have it replicated. Whiteflash however would not make the ring because they did not want to be in trouble with any copy right issues. So it was back to the drawing board for me. I ended up desiging my own ring that looked similar yet different.

Here is the link to my post.

Cool. Thanks!

Kah-El, do you mind telling me what differences you made to the ring? Thanks!

At least from the top, I think that ring looks pretty similar to mine. You can see it in my avatar, and my thread here with additional photos.

From the Top view my ring looks very similar to the De Beers Ring. The micropave on the De Beers is thinner I think it is like a 1.85mm. I made mine a bit thicker 2.5mm with larger stones. Also the diamonds do not go as far down on the band so, I made the diamonds come down 3/4 of the band. If you are looking at the ring from the front, the setting is way different. I made my crown a mix of the De Beers and Cartier. If you look at the pictures of my ring and compare it with the De Beers Forever Pave from the top it looks very similar but if you look at it from the front it is completely different.
