Newbie here. Doing some research. Would the girdle feathers on either of the below diamonds concern you from a structural or chipping perspective?

Hi Aardvark43 - I can't comment on these stones specifically, but I can comment in general.
If it was a princess cut, and there were some deep reaching feathers under a corner, then maybe you'd want to have a better look as there might be some setting concerns - - but if they're tiny little feathers on the edge of the girdle on a cushion, then there is likely nothing at all to be concerned about - they've survived the cutting/polishing process which is way harder on the stone than setting or normal daily wear.
Hope this helps

Honestly speaking feathers near a girdle is blown out of proportion more here than anywhere else. It really depends on the clarity grade and size of the feather.

Feather on girdle is a problem on stones with sharp corners with feather near a corner. And especially a feather that starts from either side of the corner and extends to the other side.

Diamonds with smoother corners don't have this problem.
