Hello
Eventhough I have been shopping diligently for an AGS ideal VS2 G or H, I can''t help keep considering this GOG August Vintage I, SI1 with strong fluorescence. Can I get your opinion on this stone and the location of the inclusions that were described to me as a "dusty appearance", would the "dust" interrupt the light/brightness? Will the strong fluorescence detract/impact the colorful fire that these cuts can have by making it blue somehow (duh?).... sorry I have to ask even if it sounds stupid.
She loves the cut of the August Vintage because of the fire that is typical to these cuts so I wouldn''t want to lose that but doesn''t like anything lower than an H usually as she can see a tint.... my thinking is that maybe it will appear more colorless because of the fluor and could that even be a good thing..... I believe that I read that somewhere but I think that I also read about fluorescence causing a milky look which is a definite no no for her? Can you please share any comments on strong fluor in this diamond to help me decide whether it might work? Many reports are found at the link. Thanks for getting me one step closer to a decision...
