Would a White Gold Diamond Band Change Color if not worn a l

I was thinking of getting a white gold band with diamonds and milligrain and etching pattern. If i got white gold, do u think it would change color - if i get platinum, all of these details on the ring would be hard for a jeweler to polish. should i get the WG??
