Worth Buying?

This is an antique untreated jadeite pin in 14kt YG. It appears to be the "moss in snow" variety and described as a translucent vivid medium green and grayish white. It looks quite pretty to me but I''m not good at judging the quality. What do you all think of the quality? Low, medium, great? Is it a steal if I said it only costs $158?

How would a stickpin normally be worn? Can I wear it with a scarf?
