Hi folks!

I recently started a project for my e-ring with ERD. I placed my order last week wednesday, gave them all my info, payment etc. etc. and have not heard from them since. I gave them some time because they are probably insanely busy (I was told the whole project would take around 2-3 weeks, but I also read on here that some people received their CADs within 1 week), but I shot them an e-mail yesterday morning for an update, with no reply. I find it a little odd because they are usually super prompt with their replies, especially prior to me placing an order, so I"m starting to get a little worried. Anyone else working with them and finding a similar situation? I'd like to know I'm not the only one! Thanks!

Hi Kat,

Even when Chris took off a day the next day he was super fast to get back to me... I think with my bands though..I did wait a little over a week to hear back... I'm sure you will hear something...

Call them on Monday. :wavey:

Thanks guys. Still no reply! I sent another e-mail today. It'll be two weeks tomorrow! Hopefuly i hear soemthin soon!

Gypsy is correct. Please call them both for your peace of mind, and to make sure everything is going well. =)

Once again. CALL THEM. Not email. You already tried email and it didn't work. SO CALL THEM.

Thanks again everyone. I also prefer e-mail and they e-mailed back right away this time!

ERD always has email issues. As long as I've been on here they've been hit or miss on emails.

ANY vendor you work with: if one method of communication fails, try a different method. Don't just try the same one again and again and then complain that no one is getting back to you.

I wasn't Complaining. I was lookig to see if people were experiencing the same problem to see whether or not theres a problem with their e-mails or technology on their end. I only e-mailed them once before, so why not try again because there might have been a problem with the e-mail (i.e. in this case he did not receive my e-mail) before calling? I wasn't asking how to get a hold of them, I'm well aware to call if no reply (which would have been my next step if my second email did not warrant a reply), but I wanted to see if others were experiencing the same thing. In any case, I got a hold of them so thanks for everyone's reply.

That's too bad that ERD has a hit and miss email server. I have emailed them on 3 separate occasions in the past 4 months via their 'contact us' page on their website - not a single one was ever replied to. I guess I didn't want the info badly enough, because I never called directly, but for a business, I hope they hear about their server issues so they can get their web person on board with a quick fix! I'm sure no one wants to miss out on a customer.

_kat - let them know about their server issues, next time you get ahold of them :))

That's too bad...I hope things work out great for you. It's not easy to trust someone with such a large & important purchase. I had such a pleasant experience with Mark from ERD with both of my transactions. Hopefully you will hear from them soon...put in a call as well.

I know. I was just saying that for general reference.

I will definitely let them know the next time I speak to them. Mark was very bothered that he did not receive my e-mail. He is very professional and pleasant to work with, so hopefully they will fix their servers for everyone else that needs information!

I've emailed AND CALLED ERD/Chris with no problems. He usually emails me back within minutes, talks to me for a long time on the phone... sometimes they're just super busy.

But as Gypsy has said (although your problem has been resolved now), you should call em if email fails. Unless you're scared of talking to them?
