I hope you can see the difference just in these old shots. This was before.

This picture is old and it doesn''t even show how terrible the inclusions were. I hope you are able to see the difference. I am not a photo person and our camera is really old...

Which tip had the inclusion before? The top? I can''t tell anything but how beautiful the stone looks. Maybe a side by side picture comparison would help to really see the difference.

can some do a side by side even though these are awful pics. I will take to my art department tomorrow and have them photo

I see a huge difference Woo. Looks like a totally different stone. I''d love to see a side by side shot, maybe Ana could do that?? Anyway, looks great. I know nothing about clarity enhancement. Keep taking pics, please!!!

Firegodess... look at the picture with just one band can you see all of the inclusions?? It was like broken glass but right at the top was a terrilbe W shaped inclusion. Now it is completely hide. Do you see how it photoed before??? Now these aren''t much better but you can actually see the center...

I will go try a couple more shots :)

Please tell us why your stone was a good candidate, so glad it was. Oh and anything else you learned about this process?? I am clueless about how they do it, etc... Thanks!!!

Woo, ok here is what the jeweler told me. They said that about 5% of diamonds in the world are eligible for a process called Clarity Enhancement....(I was skeptical)!!! This is a really nice reputable jeweler so I thought what do I have to loose. They sent it out to be evaluated. I had also looked into cutting in to a pear shape but was going to lose almost 45% of the weight

Bummer. So, the took it out and had it for 14 days for evaluation. The look at the type of flaws and locations. The jeweler didn''t promise me one way or the other but said he thought there was a good chance.

They said process optically eliminates "feathers", which are naturally occurring in most diamonds. The result is a more visually stunning diamond that you can purchase for significantly less then a similar-looking, non-enhanced diamond.

The amount of material used to fill the feather is so microscopic that even the world''s greatest diamond laboratory, the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has reported that Mr. Yehuda''s clarity enhancement process adds ZERO WEIGHT to a diamond. Take a look at the before and after pictures.

The Gemological Institute of America (G.I.A), after extensive research, has determined that normal wear and tear cannot harm the enhancement. Only if the Yehuda diamond is exposed to high heat or strong acids and bases, the enhancement may be reversed. In the extremely rare case that a Yehuda Diamond should lose its enhancement, the Yehuda Diamond Company will re-enhance the diamond at no charge, no questions asked.

This is all from the website so don''t think I am professional .....hehehehe..

However, they did a MIRACLE on my stone!!!!!!!!!

Woo, before and afters from their site.....

I am soooooooooooo new to this but my jeweler said that this company is very well known for their process.

PS the one with the single band is a really really really old picture. Just added it so you could see the difference. Don''t get confused :)

I can''t wait to show you the lab pictures.... Unbelievable. I have to wait and scan it tomorrow

Y''know what woo - I''m a dork - I was trying to see the difference in the new photos.

The old photos clearly show that the stone almost looked hazy or cloudy almost, more lifeless. This CE really helped the stone look more translucent and sparkly - it looks a ton more lively.

Wow, it looks great, Woo!! The difference is remarkable and I have to tell you that it really makes your setting look great. The round just didn''t fit this setting but the marquis........beautiful!!

hehehe firegodess it is confusing.... it has so much more life and it actually sparkes. Tips on marquises are often a little tinted but mine where like paste now they have a slight tint but no huge flaw and I can actually see the cut of the stone. This stone all cleaned up will definately keep my attention until the HUGE big RB comes my way someday but for now I feel really lucky to have found something that allowed me to use this HUGE stone and keep the RB for my Right Hand :) WOOOOO Honestly, I had forgotten how big it was and how much better it looked in the set :) I would encourage anyone who has a so so diamond to look into it.... Cheap and great results.....................wooooooooooooooooo

Thank you Catwoman...................Your set is one of my FAVORITES!!! I love your mixture of stones :) WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

FYI: Watch out for inferior enhancements that are now on the market. It''s clear that Not All Treatments Are Created Equal. The Gemological Institute of America (GIA), in analyzing Yehuda''s competitors, concluded that these imitation processes cause the diamond to darken, or turn grey, under sunlight and ultra-violet light.

This is because the imitator''s treatment contains bromine, which is unstable in light. The Yehuda Enhancement Process is superior because it is bromine-free and can never be affected by sunlight or ultra-violet light.

This is an interesting thread Ronda. I didn''t know anything about clarity enhancements. The difference is your marquise is just amazing! How exciting for you!!!

Thanks Sundial... I too am new to this but thought some Pricescopers may want to see the change :) WOOOOOOOOOO

It is amazing and you seem so pleased! It looks beautiful and I am truly happy for you. Enjoy!

Very interesting. Thanks for sharing..your stone looks great back in that setting!

oh that is just wonderful woo and the marquise looks great back in it''s original home. Love the setting for the RB too. Yay for you..

Woo, does the enhancement process affect the diamonds likelihood to chip? I am so glad you are happy, I cannot wait to see more pictures!

WOOOOOOO Here are the before and after shots from the lab..... WOWOWOWOW What a difference :)

Wooo, this is the best side by side I could do :)

What a difference! Beautiful sparkle! I''m so glad that worked out for you, Woo!

I *think* SanDiegoLady has a clarity enhanced diamond, too. I hope she stops by soon!

It looks great wooo!

A dramatic difference woo! I''m glad this worked out for you, that the stone was an acceptable candidate for treatment, and that it turned out so well!!
