WOO-HOO!!! Just bought this little beauty:)

I was looking for a half-carat-ish diamond for a pendant of low color and clarity, but of course with a fabulous cut and lots of fluorescence. I found this little guy at brilliance.com for $742. I should have it in a few days!!! The vendor confirmed it was eye-clean and that the fluorescence helped the M color face-up whiter, but I have 30 days to return it in case I decide I don''t like it. They also now have a trade-up policy, and I''ll definitely be looking to upgrade (in size especially) in the future!

will be interested to see what you do with it - do put up some shots when your stone arrives; i love photos of those little guys in their boxes - they just hold so many possibilities!!

I''m thinking just a four prong basket setting. I didn''t order the one from brilliance because it only has one loop-- don''t know what it''s really called--- for the chain to go through, and I like the ones with two, like the one on WF''s website. I''ll probably just take it to the local guy who set my ering and see what he can order. I''ll decide on a metal when I see how much of a tint I see in the stone. I''ll either go regular white gold or ask for unplated white gold, depending on what I think will look better. I like yellow, but I want it to match my ering. I''m so excited!!!

Got my diamond. I LOVE it! The color is not an issue at all. I can see it easily from the side, but face up-- even next to my H colored e-ring--- all I see is brightness and sparkle. It shows up a little in the pics though, which can be found in this thread. https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/how-should-i-set-my-pendant.111616/. I can''t recommend a well-cut lower color enough. It''s just so pretty!

Wow that is a gorgeous diamond! It does face up incredibly white!! I also vote for a thin bezel setting, that would make it look even whiter since you can''t see the side.
