I always wear my women’s suffrage bracelet when I go to the polls. This was handed down to me from English MIL. It was her mother’s and she wore it to support women’s suffrage in the early 1900’s London.
This is gorgeous! And for those who don't know about the colour significance - it's based on Give Women Votes - GWV - Green White Violet. You're so lucky to have this piece!!
Thank you everyone. It really is a beautiful piece and something I wear every time I vote as a reminder of the last 100 years. The women that fought for this right, how far we have come and how far we still need to go!
I can't tell you how much I love this. What a special piece of history. It is beautiful and significant on it's own. But with the family history attached it is a treasure! How wonderful - thank you for sharing it with us!
