Will white rhodium wash this amethyst out?

So I picked up this amethyst and am planning to swap out the side diamonds for a couple of better diamonds that I have lying around. In debating if I want to rhodium dip it bc I don’t really like yellow gold on me. I’m just worried that the amethyst will appear to pale. Any ideas?

I like YG with amethyst. The way it looks on the photo, YG is seen more on the sides. Maybe rhodium plate the shank only, and leave the prongs in YG?

It won't wash out but the colour will probably be less intense since purple and yellow are complimentary colours.

I can agree with chrono that it may well be less intense. The other end of course is what the stone will look like in plain ol daylight (not sunlight per se)
