Thanks for all of the kind comments. I am very happy with the diamond and the setting. As a first time purchaser of a diamond, I was nervous. I did a lot of reading (especially on this forum) and really appreciate all of the education provided here.

A family friend is in the business in NYC. After doing all of my research, I picked out the diamonds from him and worked with him to design the setting.
