Just wondering. A friend of mine has an I SI1 Lazare Ideal cut and that baby is beautiful and looks wonderfully white from the top. She has a 4 prong setting that shows the point of the diamond. When I look at her diamond through the setting while looking at the point of the diamond I do see yellow.

Do you think I will see color in my H. I didn''t while it was on a white piece of paper, but I also didn''t see it next to another diamond. I got a whitegold setting with a platinum head, so hopefully that will help in the white. Her diamond setting is platinum.

The jeweler said that most people can''t see color in H''s let alone I''s. He said I must just have one of those eyes that can see color. He also said If I ever see the inclusions in my VS2 with my eye that I need to come work for him!!

I pick it up today and can''t wait. I have visions of being able to see the color and I can''t wait to put it to rest. I really hope it looks crips and white. He did say if I could see color and it bothers me I can exchange it. I believe I have 30 days. They say if I am not happy they fix it.

Also, does anyone know if a Lazare will sparkle more than just a regular AGA 000 Ideal cut. Her diamond sparkled more than any diamond I have ever seen anyone wear. Its so beautiful.

I have seen a color difference when you place an H or I next to a D or E. But on its own it might be very white and sparkly to your eyes. I know a lot to do with it looking white is really good cut. I'm not familiar with Lazare, but I think ideal cuts are supposed to really pump up the fire and brilliance.

Good luck. Post pics when you can.
